A slight chance of showers on Sunday in Sacramento

A slight chance of rain is forecast for Sunday, but otherwise the weather looks abnormally warm and mostly sunny in the Sacramento region.

The chance of rain is placed at 20 percent for Sunday. Friday and Saturday look warmish with temperatures in Sacramento expected to be about 10 degrees above the normal of 66 degrees.

Looking into next week, the National Weather Service expects the warm temperatures to continue with highs in the mid-to-high 70s leading up to spring, which officially is sprung on Friday March 20.
