Sacramento police had some fun early Monday morning with a Facebook report of a sighting of an exhausted Easter Bunny on Fong Ranch Road in South Natomas.

Officers responded to a welfare check on “somebunny” with “white hair and long ears,” according to the post. Police reported finding a worn-out cottontail rabbit, who said he’d been handing out eggs and Easter baskets all day, but the critter declined assistance and went on his way.
