Quick warm-up by mid-week in Sacramento
While Monday and Tuesday are expected to have about normal temperatures, Wednesday will see a rapid warm-up in the Sacramento region.

The high on Tuesday is expected be 72 degrees. Then, high pressure is forecast to build over the region, leading to a high of 80 degrees in Sacramento on Wednesday.
The weak system that moved through Northern California Sunday night resulted in light snowfall at the higher elevations of the Sierra Nevada. In the Sacramento Valley, rainfall amounts varied from a half inch in Redding to a few drops in Sacramento.
