Five days of 80-degree weather forecast for Sacramento
The National Weather Service expects Sacramento to have a run of 80-degree days right through Monday.
The high temperatures are unusual for late March when days in the high 60s are the norm. On Friday, a record may be tied because weather forecasters predict the maximum afternoon temperature could reach 85 degrees.
If the temperature reaches 85 degrees, that would tie the record set in 1923.
The high on Wednesday was 79 degrees. Thursday’s high is expected to be 83 degrees.
