Deadline approaching to pay Sacramento County property taxes
The deadline for paying the second installment of the Sacramento County property taxes is Friday.
Late payments incur a 10 percent penalty, plus a $15 expense for each tax bill. Partial payments are not accepted.
Failure to receive a tax bill does not exempt the property owner from paying taxes on time or give the tax collector any reason to cancel late penalties.
