Windy weather: Breezy conditions are forecast for Sacramento on Thursday as north winds kick up. Look for gusts to 18 mph in Sacramento, according to the National Weather Service. Warm temperatures continue with a high of 89 degrees forecast. Could we have the first 90-degree day of the year?

Live chat about Nepal: Join a live chat at noon today with Mike Roten, one of six Folsom-based Intel workers traveling in Nepal who saw their world turned upside down in a matter of minutes after Saturday’s magnitude-7.8 earthquake. Roten, a technical project analyst at Intel’s Folsom campus, said the group was on a hilltop taking in scenic views when the quake struck.
