8,000 Disneyland tickets among cargo in FFA trailer stolen near Galt

A trailer belonging to the Future Farmers of America and loaded with items for a Southern California conference was stolen near Galt early Wednesday morning.

The trailer, bound for the 90th Annual State FFA Leadership Conference, contained audio/visual equipment, awards and 8,000 Disneyland tickets, according to a California Highway Patrol news release.

The trailer was taken about 3:10 a.m. from property at 13020 West Stockton Boulevard. Security camera footage showed the suspect vehicle, which the CHP described as a dark-colored, long-bed pickup truck with an extended cab. The trailer is a Wells Cargo, double axle, whited enclosed box trailer, with license plate number 4KJ1127, according to the news release.

The CHP is asking the public's help in locating the trailer and its contents. Authorities also advise people to be cautious when purchasing Disneyland tickets from unknown sources.

Anyone with information regarding the theft is asked to call the CHP's South Sacramento Area Office at 916-681-2300 during regular business hours, or the CHP Communication Center at 916-861-1300.
