Revelers enjoyed a sunsplashed 104th Picnic Day at UC Davis on Saturday.

“Where the Sun Shines” was the theme of this year’s event.

As of Saturday afternoon, there were no arrests reported during the festivities, according to Davis Police Lt. Paul Doroshov.

Last year, five people, none of whom were UC Davis students, were arrested following a brawl between several Picnic Day attendees and Davis police officers.

Those arrested eventually pleaded no contest to felony resisting and misdemeanor assault on a police officer in exchange for one year’s probation and enrollment in a restorative justice program.
