Constructing improvements at Nimbus Flat will mean the closure of some amenities at the recreation spot this summer.

The park will remain open to the public. However, the restrooms, launch ramps and portions of the parking lots will be closed from June through August.

During work to improve facilities for people with disabilities, portable toilets will be placed next to existing restrooms. Boaters are advised to launch at Negro Bar and Willow Creek.

Renovations are being done to meet Americans With Disabilities Act standards for the restrooms and parking lots.
