Target brings free ‘Drive Up’ service to more than a dozen Sacramento-area stores
Target announced Wednesday it has expanded its parking lot pickup service to more than 1,100 stores, including more than a dozen in the Sacramento area.
The service, known as Drive Up, is free to use and allows shoppers to order their items via Target’s mobile app. The goods are then brought to shoppers’ cars in designated spots outside the store “in under two minutes,” the retailer said in a press release.
Some items, including perishable groceries, flowers and alcohol, are not available via Drive Up, according to an FAQ page on Target’s website.
