Firefighters in Stockton are battling a three-alarm blaze Monday afternoon in the Port of Stockton, officials said.

The fire began just before 4 p.m. at the Green Planet 21 recycling facility on Port Road 22, according to Stockton Fire.

The fire “depleted many resources from the City of Stockton limits,” according to a tweet from Stockton Fire. The tweet also noted that high winds are making it difficult to battle the fire.
