State Parks seeks proposals to run Folsom Lake Marina
Proposals are being sought to run Browns Ravine marina on Folsom Lake for up to 30 years.
California State Parks officials are seeking proposals for a 21-year concession contract with the option of nine more years. The operations include a boat slip, mooring rentals, food and retail sales, and equipment rentals.
The contract requires a $2.5 million investment to renovate and make improvements at the marina. Proposals are due by 2 p.m. Sept. 29.
A meeting is scheduled for 1 p.m. July 2 at the Granite Bay Activity Center at the end of Douglas Boulevard in Granite Bay. A tour of facilities and overview of the request for proposals are scheduled.
