The death of Stephon Clark, a 22-year-old unarmed black man shot and killed by local police officers in March 2018, set off a series of events that forever changed the city of Sacramento.

On Dec. 12, The Sacramento Bee premiered a new documentary, “S.A.C.” The film reveals the lasting impacts of Clark’s death — from the enduring pain felt by his family and community, to the massive protests that helped change local and state legislation.

For some, news of his death resonated on a personal level. For others, it was an overdue wake-up call for the state of California.

We want to hear from you. How did the shooting of Stephon Clark affect you, your friends, your family and your community?

We will be sharing some of these submissions in an upcoming story.
