Two-alarm fire knocked down at Natomas apartment complex, Sacramento Fire Department says

Crews knocked down a two-alarm fire at an apartment complex in south Natomas.

The fire broke out at an apartment building in the 2000 block of West El Camino Avenue at about 12:35 p.m., the Sacramento Fire Department said in a tweet. It was initially described as an attic fire.

A second alarm was requested less than 15 minutes later, and the fire was knocked down shortly after 1 p.m., the Fire Department said in social media updates.

No injuries were reported, and the cause of the fire is being investigated.
