Reward offered for retired Sacramento airport K9 missing since Christmas Day
A retired Sacramento County K9 officer went missing on Christmas Day, and now his owners are asking for help returning him.
The Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office said Levi, formerly on the airport detail, has been missing for several days.
The dog’s owner, Tori Roll, posted on Facebook to ask for community assistance.
“We’re now going on day four and no sign I’ll do anything to have my Levi home” Roll said. “To say I’m heartbroken isn’t even close to what I feel. Please keep an eye out for my boy.”
The post said that Levi was last seen on Country Club Road in Olivehurst, in neighboring Yuba County. The dog was described as having a distinctive scar on his right eye and was wearing a chain collar.
Roll said there is a reward offered for the dog’s safe return, no questions asked.
“Let’s help get him back home to his furever family!” the Sheriff’s Office said Saturday on Twitter.
