People in line at the polls can still vote in California’s primary election

People in line at the polls at 8 p.m. can still vote, but they must be in line when election workers start shutting down the lines, according to the Sacramento County elections office.

Election workers should’ve started shutting down the lines at the polls exactly at 8 p.m., said Janna Haynes of the elections office. Anyone still in line would still be able to vote.
