Three vehicles ended up oveturned after a collision Wednesday, June 10, 2020, on westbound Interstate 80 near Rocklin Road.

Traffic is at a crawl on westbound Interstate 80 near Rocklin after a multi-vehicle crash midday Wednesday, according to the California Highway Patrol.

All three westbound lanes were closed for close to 40 minutes after a three-vehicle collision between the Highway 65 interchange and Rocklin Road around 11:15 a.m., the CHP Auburn office said in a tweet.

The two right lanes of traffic reopened shortly before noon and the left lane reopened around 12:15 p.m., but residual delays and congestion may continue in the area, CHP and Caltrans tweeted.

All three involved vehicles were overturned — two ending up on their sides and one on its roof, photos from the scene show — but all injuries appear to be minor, the CHP said. The rollover rash involved two SUVs and a pickup truck.

No other details were released.
