Body recovered from Sacramento River. No signs of foul play, police say
First responders rescued a drowned body from the Sacramento River on Sunday, according to Sacramento Fire Department spokesman Capt. Keith Wade.
Sacramento police, who responded to the scene after reports of a body in the water, saw no obvious signs of foul play, officers said.
Authorities arrived at the 600 block of Riverine Way just after 12:30 p.m, police said. The Sacramento County Coroner’s Office is leading an investigation into the death.
