Man sent to Sacramento hospital after watercraft accident in Miller Park, firefighters say

One person was injured in a personal watercraft accident in Miller Regional Park on Saturday.

The incident on a Jet Ski-like vehicle happened around 2 p.m. on the 2700 block of Marina View Drive, according to the Sacramento Fire Department. It’s unclear what led to the accident.

The man injured was taken to shore by a private boat and was being treated on the docks. Spokesman Capt. Keith Wade said the man would be transported to a hospital for further treatment. The extent of his injuries weren’t immediately clear.

No water rescue was required by fire personnel, Wade said.
