Buckhorn Steakhouse in Winters offers free meals to those affected by fires
Buckhorn Steakhouse in Winters is offering free meals to anyone affected by the series of fires in the area.
Meals will be provided to those staying at the Hotel Winters following evacuations and the restaurant also will provide food to anyone who stops by the Main Street location.
The LNU Lightning Complex fire has burned parts of Yolo County, forcing some evacuations on the outskirts of Winters. While the blaze continues to burn north of Fairfield, in Sonoma County and near Lake Berryessa, the complex has been declared the second-largest wildfire in California history.
Buckhorn is offering two different meals throughout the day, just as they have since Wednesday. A Facebook post clarified that the restaurant plans to continue offering relief meals while people are in need.
“Please share with anyone who may be displaced, lost a home or first responders,” Buckhorn Steakhouse’s Facebook post said.
