An auction of donated art, antique furniture and artifacts will be conducted Saturday to benefit the Dixon Teen Center.
An estimated $100,000 in items will be up for bid at 6 p.m. Saturday at 1690 North Lincoln St. in Dixon. All proceeds go to the teen center.
The items come from the Pacific Rim Art Gallery in Vallejo. Owner Gary Helm recently retired and decided to donate the gallery collection to the teen center.
Dixon Police Chief Jon Cox said that Helm’s gift will change the lives of young people, providing a place for them to stay out of trouble.
