Sacramento woman and San Francisco man killed in crash on Broadway in Oak Park

Two people were killed and another hospitalized after a three-vehicle crash this week in Oak Park, Sacramento police said.

One victim was pronounced dead at the scene, on Broadway near 42nd Street, shortly after 3:30 p.m. Wednesday, according to the Sacramento Police Department’s daily activity log.

The two remaining victims were transported to a hospital, where one succumbed to their injuries.

The Sacramento County Coroner’s Office has identified the deceased victims as 69-year-old Lambert Glaspie, of San Francisco, and 59-year-old Shelly Hudek, of Sacramento.

The third victim’s condition is unknown.

The cause of the collision remains under investigation, police said.
