Car hits pole on Highway 50 embankment near Folsom, killing at least 1, CHP says
At least one person was killed Thursday evening when a car crashed into a pole along Highway 50 near Folsom.
A white sedan veered onto an embankment on westbound Highway 50 near Prairie City Road and struck a pole shortly after 7:15 p.m., according to the California Highway Patrol’s activity log.
The coroner was dispatched to the scene for at least one fatality, according to the CHP log.
No other details were immediately available.
