High temperatures cancel Roseville event

Roseville’s Downtown Tuesday Nights event scheduled for today has been canceled because of rising temperatures, according to a news release from EZ Events.

“We don’t want to see anyone get hurt, especially our volunteers, participants and staff, so we have made the tough decision to cancel this Tuesday’s event,” the organization said.

Each Tuesday, the city closes a portion of Vernon Street and the Town Square for live music, food trucks, a farmers’ market and other attractions. The starting time has been 5 p.m.

The Boys of Summer, an Eagles tribute band had been scheduled to play as part of Tribute Tuesday. The event will return July 7 with the Vintage Vandals, a vintage rock ’n’ roll band.
