Police locate 12-year-old girl who went missing in Sacramento’s South Oak Park area

A 12-year-old girl who went missing on Monday in Sacramento’s South Oak Park neighborhood has been safely located, according to police.

The girl was seen around noon leaving a residence in the 3500 block of 21st Avenue on foot, the Sacramento Police Department said in social media posts Tuesday morning. In an afternoon update, police said they had “safely located” her. No other details were announced.
