Police in Northern California town searching for teen cousins, 13, last seen Thursday

Dixon police are searching for 13-year-old cousins last seen Thursday in Vacaville.

Police believe Liam Bourland, of Dixon, and McKenzie Johnson, are together. Bourland was seen Wednesday walking away from John Knight Middle School, 455 E. A St., in Dixon before classes began and was later seen in Vacaville with cousin McKenzie, Dixon officers said.

McKenzie Johnson was reported missing to Vacaville police Thursday morning.

Dixon police say their whereabouts remain unknown.

Liam is 5-foot-7 and 105 pounds with light brown hair and brown eyes. The boy was last seen wearing blue jeans, tan moccasin-style shoes and a red sweatshirt covered by a black sweatshirt.

McKenzie is 5-foot-6 and 100 pounds with brown hair and hazel eyes. She was wearing a black sweatshirt and was carrying a black backpack.

Anyone with information on the children’s whereabouts is asked to call Dixon Police Department Investigations Unit at 707-678-7070.
