Didn’t get up the hill? This is what opening weekend of Lake Tahoe skiing looked like

A handful of Lake Tahoe, California, ski resorts opened over the weekend beginning Nov. 12.

Video shows the first skiers hitting the slopes at Northstar, Heavenly and Kirkwood resorts. More resorts will open in the next week and throughout the rest of the month.

In South Lake Tahoe this weekend, skiers and snowboarders will see mostly sunny days with low temperatures in the upper teens and highs in the upper 30s to lower 40s.
