See inside the Confucius Temple, once a center of life in Sacramento’s historic Chinatown
Members of the Chinese Consolidated Benevolent Association and the Chinese family associations it represents tour the Confucius Temple on March 3 in the Chinatown Mall in downtown Sacramento.
The temple, at the center of Sacramento’s Chinatown Mall, has been idle since the beginning of the coronavirus pandemic. Revitalizing it would be a key part to bringing more activity to the mall, which has become a largely unused space in the heart of downtown.
