These Sacramento County streets will close for a parade this weekend. Here’s where and when
Sacramento County will close some of its streets this weekend for the Sacramento Sikh Society’s inaugural Nagar Kirtan parade.
Road closures begin at 9 a.m. Sunday along Bradshaw Road at the Sacramento Sikh Society Temple, Sacramento County wrote in a news release. The parade will make a right turn on Vintage Park Drive and proceed to Elk Grove Florin Road and go north.
The parade will then turn east onto Gerber Road and make its way back to the temple at 7676 Bradshaw Road. Remember: Bradshaw Road will close again as the parade concludes.
California Highway Patrol will navigate traffic with rolling closures throughout the day.
Drivers should expect delays near the area.

- Bradshaw Road - 10 a.m. to noon
- Vintage Park Drive - noon to 1:30 p.m.
- Elk Grove Florin Road - 1:30 p.m. to 3 p.m.
- Gerber Road - 3 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.
