Video: Sacramento teacher one of most-traveled people in the world
After stepping into North Korea on March 14, 2023, Rio Americano High School Spanish teacher Brian Asher has now visited every country in the world.
That’s 193 recognized nations, in addition to Taiwan, Kosovo, Palestine and the Vatican.
He’s been traveling since he was 20 years old.
“I have now been to 197 countries in the world,” the 37-year-old told the Sacramento Bee. “There’s about 200-ish people who have been to every country, which is fewer than have been to outer space.”
