16-year-old girl dies following Sacramento crash that killed woman and injured 3 others

A 16-year-old girl died Thursday following a single-vehicle crash last week in Sacramento that killed a woman and seriously injured three other occupants, authorities said.

Ayesha Adil, of Sacramento, died Thursday after being hospitalized from the June 7 crash in the Willowcreek neighborhood within the Natomas area, according to the Sacramento County Coroner’s Office.

The crash happened about 2:20 p.m. along Barandas Drive near Sweet Maple Way, according to the Sacramento Police Department.

The coroner previously identified Marryam Naeem, 27, of Sacramento, who died at the crash scene.

Four others including Ayesha were transported to hospitals, all with injuries described as serious, police said. The conditions of the three surviving victims as of Friday were not known.
