Children eat for free this summer at these 48 Sacramento schools and community centers
Nearly 50 schools and community centers across Sacramento are serving free meals to children over the summer.
The Sacramento City Unified School District’s free summer meals program offers free breakfast and lunch to kids 18 and under, Monday through Friday, at select locations.
No paperwork or enrollment is required, according to SCUSD’s farm-to-fork program Central Kitchen.
The program started Monday and runs through Friday, July 28. Some locations, which are linked, will continue to cook free meals through August.
