Indie rock veterans, the Arctic Monkeys, will be taking the Golden 1 Center stage this September, as the band wraps up its 2023 North American Tour.

Formed in Sheffield, England, in 2002, the artists will perform on Sept. 27 with support from Irish post-punk group Fontaines D.C, according to the Golden 1 Center. This is their second to last show in North America and the U.S., finishing off with a performance in Los Angeles at the Kia Forum on Sept. 29.

Known for distinct crooning vocals from frontman Alex Turner, Arctic Monkeys has top hits including “Do I Wanna Know?” and “I Wanna Be Yours,” which is housed in the fifth studio album “AM.” The 2013 album garnered high recognition, including winning Album Of The Decade at the NME Awards in 2020.

Arctic Monkeys released the record “The Car” in 2022. Its single “There’d Better Be A Mirrorball” from the album received a Grammy nomination — six total in the band’s career — for Best Alternative Music Performance.
