Folsom man not wearing seatbelt in fatal crash on Highway 70, CHP says
A 46-year-old Folsom man died in a single-vehicle wreck on Highway 70 Saturday evening, the California Highway Patrol said.
The crash occurred near McGowan Parkway in Olivehurst when the Ford sedan he was driving left the roadway for unknown reasons. The car traveled down a dirt embankment and rolled several times, CHP said.
The driver was not wearing a seatbelt and was ejected.
He suffered fatal injuries, CHP said. His identity will be released by the Sutter County Coroner’s Office after next of kin is notified.
