Hawaiian chain opens first California restaurant in Sacramento: ‘We have finally made it’
A new Hawaiian restaurant is opening in Sacramento.
Island Fin Poké Co. is opening its 27th location on Monday in Delta Shores, a shopping center in the Meadowview neighborhood of south Sacramento, according to a news release.
The Florida-based company was founded in 2017. Since then, the poké franchise has expanded to more than 10 states.
The Sacramento store at 8140 Delta Shores Circle S, Suite 130, is the first to open in California.
“We have finally made it to California with our location in Delta Shores!,” said Mark Setterington, CEO and Founder of Island Fin Poké Co. in the Oct. 5 news release.

The Sacramento location is open Sunday through Thursday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Friday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.
Franchisee owners, Jason Davis and Melissa Miles wanted to start their next chapter in the Elk Grove area. Davis graduated high school in Elk Grove, he told The Bee.
“We just wanted something that we could be proud of offering to the community,” Miles said.
She said she loves that all the sauces are house made and all of the ingredients are made fresh everyday at Island Fin Poké Co.
Customers can build their own poké bowls at the casual Hawaiian restaurant or choose from one of the signature bowls the restaurant has to offer. Options like ahi tuna, korean bbq chicken and even a chicken bowl are available.
Poké bowls range from $12 to $23 depending on what you get.
Order can be placed in store or online through the restaurant website or app. With the app, customers can qualify for free poké by earning points.
