The National Center for Missing and Exploited Children is seeking the public’s help to find a Northern California teenager who has been missing for more than a week and may have traveled to Sacramento.

Hansley Ventimiglia, 16, was last at his parents’ home in Redding. Hansley’s parents went to wake him up for school on Oct. 11 in the morning and noticed he was gone, according to a news release from the national center. He’s never been reported missing before, and his parents said it’s unusual for him to be gone, the news release added.

“We just want to tell him we love him,” Dominic Ventimiglia, the teen’s father, said in a statement. “And we are so grateful for everyone who has been and continues to share his poster.”

Hansley is believed to be in Redding or to have traveled to Sacramento, the news release said.

Anyone with information about Hansley’s location is asked to call the National Center of Missing and Exploited Children at 1-800-843-5678 or the Redding Police Department at 530-225-4200.
