Video: Watch adorable, overjoyed dog greet owner at Sacramento airport after 7 months

After spending seven months playing professional soccer in Iceland, Mackenzie George returned home to Sacramento, California, and reunited with her biggest fan — her pet dog.

The dog, named Rocky, did not hold back its excitement, video posted by the licensor of user generated WooGlobes shows.

”My dog was supposed to join me but it didn’t work out due to the strict travel restrictions for dogs moving to Iceland,” George told WooGlobe. “So, this was us reuniting after that long apart.”

George told the Sacramento Bee that she’s had Rocky since her first week of college.

“I played pro soccer in Iceland for my first year of post-collegiate sports, and unfortunately my dog was separated from me after a failed attempt at trying to get him overseas,” she said. “He stayed at my family farm with my six other dogs. Now, we are together waiting on our next contract. We will be going together.”

George played soccer for Woodcreek High School in Roseville before going on to play forward at Tennessee, according to her social media accounts.
