Folsom woman who went missing is found, family says. ‘We just want her home’
A woman from Folsom who had been missing since Friday has been found, family members told The Sacramento Bee on Sunday.
The 54-year-old Folsom resident — who was considered at risk because of a medical issue — was located just before 2 p.m. Sunday, a family member said.
Family members had taken to social media since Friday afternoon after she left the family’s home in her Subaru Outback during the morning.
Folsom police had taken on the case, as well, and the woman was believed to be spotted Saturday night at a Panda Express near Iron Point Road in Folsom — but video footage from the restaurant confirmed it wasn’t her.
“She’s spent her career caring for others — from youth to elders in the community,” her husband told The Bee before she was located safely. “She’s poured her heart into her family. Now, we just want her home and we need everybody’s help to do so.”
No other details were immediately available.
