The capital city was drenched by a storm that started Tuesday afternoon and continued through the night. And it isn’t over yet.
The National Weather Service forecast a 20% chance of showers before 11 a.m. on Wednesday.
There’s also a chance of rain early Friday morning and Saturday, the agency said.
How much rain did Sacramento area get?
According to data from the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, Sacramento International Airport recorded a total of 0.32 inches of rainfall from Tuesday to Wednesday morning.
McClellan Airfield Airport recorded 0.40 inches of rain in the same time frame.
In the South Sacramento area, 0.48 inches of rain fell.
The Roseville-Rocklin area saw 0.62 inches, while Folsom Lake recorded 0.55 inches and El Dorado Hills received 0.63 inches.
