These 5 Sacramento restaurants are taking last-minute reservations for Valentine’s Day

Restaurants across Sacramento are filling fast for Valentine’s Day but if you’re behind on making plans for the love in your life, you still have time.

The love-inspired holiday falls on Wednesday this year and to celebrate, chefs across the area are serving special menus at various price tags.

Here’s a guide to restaurants with Valentine’s Day menus that are still taking reservations, as of Monday morning, with prices ranging from $55 to $175 per person.

Ella Dining Room & Bar

Location: 1131 K St., Sacramento

Ella Dining Room & Bar’s Valentine’s Day dinner is packed with bubbly, food and dessert for $175 per person.

The menu includes a bottle of champagne, duck liver mouse, fish, scallops, steak, vegetables and red velvet cake.

Reservations should be booked online or over the phone at 916-443-3772.

Prelude Kitchen & Bar

Location: 1117 11th St., Sacramento

Prelude Kitchen & Bar will serve a four-course dinner for $95 to $145 per person.

The kitchen will whip up crab bisque with caviar, scallops with fermented garlic honey, braised short rib, olive oil cake and champagne sorbet.

The vegetarian dinner is significantly cheaper with similar options, except carrot bisque, risotto and black truffle potato substitutions.

Reservations are required, according to the restaurant website. Tables should be reserved online.

Southpaw Sushi

Southpaw Sushi will open its doors to sushi lovers for a night of “savory rolls and indulgent main courses,” the restaurant wrote in a Feb. 6 Facebook post.

The Valentine’s Day dinner, priced at $55 per person, includes edamame, seafood nachos, sushi, pasta, fried rice, cheesecake and mochi brownies.

Reservations are not required, Southpaw Sushi stated.

The Monk’s Cellar

Location: 240 Vernon St., Roseville

The Monk’s Cellar will serve a $75 three-course dinner designed for two, according to a Feb. 9 Instagram post.

Each guest will select their own appetizer and entree. The dessert will be shared.

Reservations are booked, according to OpenTable, but the restaurant has reserved space for walk-ins.

Shoki Ramen House

Location: 2530 21st St., Sacramento

In a Feb. 10 Facebook post to customers, Shoki Ramen House announced it will serve a Valentine’s Day menu.

Reservations are not required.

As of Monday morning, Shoki Ramen House representatives were not available to confirm prices or what will be served.
