A single-vehicle rollover crash in Rancho Cordova killed a man early Friday morning and left two other people with injuries, according to the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office.

A caller alerted authorities of the crash just before 4:30 a.m., saying a vehicle that had rolled over a fence along Grant Line Road between Douglas and White Rock roads.

A male occupant from the vehicle was pronounced dead, said Sgt. Amar Gandhi, a spokesman with the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office. The two other vehicle occupants, a man and woman, were taken to a hospital with minor injuries, Gandhi said.

Deputies from the Sheriff’s Office, which contracts police work in the city of Rancho Cordova, closed Grant Line Road between Douglas and White Rock roads for several hours Friday morning during its investigation.
