Gourmet cookie chain is opening its first Sacramento-area shop. Where and what’s on the menu
A new gourmet cookie shop is coming to Sacramento.
Chip Cookies will hold its grand opening at 3590 Crocker Drive, Suite 110, in Sacramento on Saturday, Aug. 3, according to its Instagram page.
The new store will be Chip Cookies’ first location in the Sacramento region and its second in Northern California.
The nationwide cookie chain has a sweet shop in Walnut Creek, as well as multiple locations throughout Southern California, Colorado, Idaho, Texas and Utah.
What is Chip Cookies?
Advertised as the “original gourmet cookie delivery company,” Chip Cookies was established in 2016 by Sean and Sarah Wilson.
The Wilsons were inspired to start the company by pregnancy cravings, according to the company website.
“Sean and Sarah were pregnant with their first born, Zoe Jane, and cravings for warm gooey chocolate chip cookies in the middle of the night were a frequent occurrence,” the website said. “Instead of just baking cookies, Sean went to work on a business plan that would deliver warm, gourmet cookies directly to your door.”

Other cookie flavors include classic chocolate chip, raspberry white chocolate and churro chip, a sugar cookie with housemade cinnamon buttercream frosting.
