Gourmet toast, juice bar chain opening first Sacramento-area site. Here’s where — and when
A boutique gourmet toast and juice bar is opening its first location in the Sacramento area.
Toastique will join a long list of businesses at the Rocklin Crossings shopping center at 5418 Crossings Drive, Kelly Rule, senior vice president of leasing for real estate developer Papas Investments, confirmed Monday morning.
Rule told The Sacramento Bee via phone that the Washington D.C.-based eatery will open the doors to its roughly 1,600-square-foot eatery next year.
It will be the chain’s first location in Northern California.
Toastique serves a variety of toast, bowls and cold-pressed juices.
What is Toastique?
Advertised as a chic destination for early breakfast and corporate lunch, Toastique was designed for the health-conscious consumer, according to the chain.
Toastique said it offers quality ingredients in a “feel good” atmosphere inspired by Washington D.C.’s international personalities and picture-worthy destinations.
Toastique was founded by Brianna Keefe, a former college athlete who “quickly learned how important it was to have wholesome meals throughout the day.”
The eight different toast options on Toastique’s menu are an extension of O’Keefe’s original avocado toast recipe.
What’s on the menu at new Sacramento-area restaurant?
Toastique’s menu features toast topped with ingredients such as watermelon radish, smoked pastrami salmon, herbed cream cheese and balsamic glaze, according to its site.
Bread options include multigrain, jalapeño cheddar, sourdough, rustico and walnut raisin.
Fruit bowls are also available.
The drink list includes cold-pressed juices and smoothies, wellness shots, coffee and iced lattes packed with collagen.
When will Rocklin location open?
The Rocklin location is slated to open sometime in 2025, according to Toastique’s site.
Eatery representatives were not immediately available Monday morning to confirm an opening date.
Where are locations in California?
Toastique has more than 20 sites nationwide.
It currently has two restaurants in California, located in Bakersfield and Balboa Island.
New locations are also planned for Danville, Ladera Ranch and Los Angeles.
