Vote for the cutest dog in the Sacramento area. Meet the paw-some pups in our first round

We asked you to submit your dogs to The Sacramento Bee’s cutest dog competition — and you delivered.
Over 150 paw-sitively adorable dogs were nominated.
We will have three polls of roughly 50 pets per contest, grouped by order of submission. This is the first round, with the first 50 dog submissions. From each round, 10 furry friends will move on to a bracket-style competition to crown the capital region’s top dog.
Vote for at least one, but no more than eight of your favorite dogs to move them on in the competition. Wait for the poll to load, then click YES to validate your identity.
