A woman died from her injuries Monday evening after she was struck by a passing pickup truck in south Sacramento.

The fatal collision happened about 7 p.m. in the 7100 block of Franklin Boulevard at Green Tree Drive in the unincorporated portion of the Parkway neighborhood, according to the California Highway Patrol’s South Sacramento office.
