1 person dead after solo wreck on Highway 160 in Delta, CHP officials say
A driver is dead after crashing along Highway 160 in the Delta on Tuesday morning, authorities said.
The fatal wreck on Highway 160, 11 miles north of Highway 220 and the community of Ryde in the Sacramento-San Joaquin River Delta, closed the roadway for several hours, according to Caltrans officials.
The highway reopened to traffic just before 11 a.m., officials said.
The cause of the wreck and the identity of the driver were not immediately clear.
