Rain every day in Sacramento? Here’s what the latest forecast says

Lately, the weather in Sacramento has been sunny from sunrise to sunset.

However, the remainder of the week could be quite the opposite.

Rain is expected to fall sporadically over several days, starting with a slight drizzle on Wednesday, according to the National Weather Service.

Showers could continue into early next week.

Nathan Rick, lead meteorologist at the weather service’s Sacramento office, said the region should see a shift toward a more active weather pattern from Wednesday night through the morning of Tuesday, Dec. 17.

“(There’s) still some uncertainty on how things are going to shake out as we get further into next week,” Rick said. “But we’re looking at a kind of series of waves that are going to move through late this week and into the weekend that are going to bring precipitation impacts to the region and Sacramento itself as well.”
