Bay Area dessert shop Dipped is coming to satisfy Sacramento’s sweet tooth. When and where?

Chocolate-dipped strawberries, caramel apples, mini cheesecakes and other sweet treats are coming to Sacramento.

Bay Area dessert shop Dipped is opening a second location at Arden Fair mall.

In a Facebook post in January, Dipped store representatives expressed gratitude for the supporters and employees who made opening an additional location a reality.

“Dipped was founded in a home kitchen four and a half years ago,” Dipped representatives said in the post. “It has been an incredible journey from doing catering to pop-ups and now setting up a second location.

“This milestone only becomes accomplishable with the support from our community and the hard work of our amazing team. Your support means everything!”

Here’s what to know about the new Sacramento-area shop:

What is Dipped?

Aliyah Bitanga founded Dipped in a home kitchen in 2020, according to the company’s website.

Bitanga established a pop-up store before signing a specialty lease for a space at Westfield San Francisco mall.

Dipped operates a permanent storefront at the Bay Street Emeryville shopping center in Emeryville. It’s described on the mall’s website as a “new generation confectionery shop offering both fun and classic chocolate-dipped treats.”

Now Dipped is bringing its sweet treats to Sacramento.
