An 87-year-old Sacramento man has been missing since Wednesday, according to the California Highway Patrol and police.

Harold Olson was last seen 7 a.m. that day on the 5300 block of J Street.

Sacramento police alerted the CHP on Friday, after which the state agency issued a Silver Alert, which is a type of public notification used to find missing people who are vulnerable due to age, cognitive condition or other disabilities.

Olson is bald, 5-foot-6 in height, weighs 150 pounds, and was last seen wearing a blue T-shirt and underwear, according to Sacramento police. He is believed to be traveling on foot.
