Heading to an A’s game? Where to park in West Sacramento and what it’ll cost
As baseball fans prepare to cheer on the Athletics in West Sacramento, they may be wondering where to park.
After opening the 2025 season on the road with four games against the Seattle Mariners, the A’s will host the Chicago Cubs for three games — Monday, March 31, through Wednesday, April 2 — at Sutter Health Park in West Sacramento.
The home series will kick off at least a three-year stint at the 14,000-seat venue, which the MLB team will share with the Triple-A Sacramento River Cats.
There are more than 5,000 parking spaces near the ballpark in the Bridge District, according to the A’s official MLB website. The majority of those spaces will be available for sports fans.
Here’s what to know before heading off to the game.
Where will the A’s play in West Sacramento?
A’s home games will be hosted at Sutter Health Park, 400 Ballpark Drive in West Sacramento.
The ballpark is between Cabaldon Parkway and Bridge Street and boasts views of the Sacramento River.
Where can I park to attend an A’s game?
According to the A’s website, ACE Parking offers a “broad range of parking options” near the stadium in “preferred” lots operated by Fulcrum Properties and the city of West Sacramento.
Prepaid parking is available at four lots and a garage in “close proximity” of Sutter Health Park in West Sacramento, according to the A’s.

“Fans should choose a parking location based upon the direction they’ll be heading after the game,” the website said.
How much is prepaid parking at lots?
According to the A’s website, season ticket holders can “pre-purchase” parking permits for games prior to the start of the season.
Fans with tickets for single events can access pre-paid parking through ACE Parking’s website by selecting “West Sacramento” as the destination or “Athletics” as the event, the website said.
Depending on the lot, you can be expect to pay $25 to $40 for parking on A’s game days, compared to $15 to $20 when the River Cats game day rates.

“All sales for parking permits are non-refundable,” the A’s website said.
How can I get to my parking lot?
The entrance for the VIP Green Lot is on Fifth Street, according to the A’s website, and it is only accessible for A’s season ticket holders.
To access the Gold Lot, go to the intersection of Ballpark Drive and Riverfront Street. This lot is also only accessible for season pass holders.
You can access the Main Lot from a total of three entry points: Fifth Street just north of Bridge Street, Riverfront Street in between Ballpark Drive and Bridge Street and Riverfront Street just south of Ballpark Drive.
You can enter the Black Lot from Fifth Street.
Cars can access Ziggurat Garage from either direction on Third Street.

For those seeking Day of Game parking options, purchases at the listed lots is by credit card or mobile payment only. No cash.
The Main Lot, Black Lot and Ziggurat Garage will have Day of Game parking purchases but will be subject to availability.
How long can I park at ACE garages and lots?
All ACE parking garages and lots will open three hours prior to A’s games and remain open 90 minutes after the end of the game, according to the A’s website.
The Ziggurat lot will open two hours before the start of each game and remain open 90 minutes following the end of the game.
Where is ADA parking located?
Fans with accessibility issues should park at the Green VIP lot, the A’s website said.
The Main Lot also has parking that’s Americans with Disabilities Act-compliant but that’s subject to availability.
Where can I find street parking?
Street parking can be found through the city of West Sacramento’s website.
Game attendees who plan to secure a street parking site will be charged an additional special event rate of $39 if parked longer than 2 hours.
This rate applies two hours before an event through the end of the event for on-street parking transactions exceeding two hours, according to the city of West Sacramento.
The special event rate is set at up to 125% of parking rates at Sutter Health Park lots, plus the Tier 1 meter rate, meaning the total cost may vary depending on the event.
For River Cats games, the special event parking rates can range from $18.75 to $24.25 if cars are parked longer than two hours.
Is shuttle service available from parking lots?
In a word, yes.
Shuttles will ferry fans to and from “preferred” parking lots such as the Green VIP and Gold lots on a first come, first served basis, prioritizing people with disabilities, according to the A’s site.

Sutter Health Park offers a complimentary, secure bike valet on Ballpark Drive, according to the A’s site.
Can I take the bus to MLB game? Light rail?
West Sacramento offers several public transportation options for fans.
Yolo County offers bus services with stops near Sutter Heath Park.

Additionally, Sacramento Regional Transit offers light rail service from Sutter Health Park into downtown Sacramento.
Attendees are encouraged to pay fare with ZipPass for a transit pass valid for SacRT and Yolobus. People can be expected to pay $2.50 per trip.
Finally, the Capitol Corridor provides train service between the Bay Area and Sacramento. Ticket prices range from $29 to $130 and may vary depending on day of purchase.
Can I use a rideshare service?
You can avoid the hassle of parking by using a rideshare service, fans should be expected to be dropped off at the designated rideshare zone at Seventh Street and Cabaldon Parkway, west of Sutter Health Park.
The zone is approximately an 8-minute walk from the park.
